Left Hand Panel Toggled to Closed when site launched

How would I set the left hand panel (containing TOC, selection results, layer list etc) to be closed when a site is launched. I believe it would be in the viewer.aspx in the left panel or toggle bar code? Any way to apply to one site or it will inherently affect all sites?  Or is there another way not to have all those left hand panel components visible on site launch that could be controlled at the site level?

  Hi there,   Modifying the Essentials interface requires that you edit the "Viewer.aspx" page (make a copy and work on that !) to move the controls around, set their initial sizes and states, etc.  So, yes, it will affect all sites, but if you're using a different viewer page then it shouldn't matter too much.

   

  We are working on a Knowledge Base article that gives a few pointers on how to easily customize the Essentials interface - watch for it soon!   Regards, -Malcolm
