Add GIS Server Application to Statistics

I have the Statistics module install and I have the config file set up to look at the AXL files and is working well. Recently we install GIS Server and have a couple of applications/sites I would like to add to the Statistics report.   Is it possible to report from a Server application? How do you configure the .xml file if so? we are in version 3.1   Thank you
