Essentials 2.2.2 Web ADF Manager Login Error
We have installed Essentials 2.2.2 as a Typical Installation on MS Windows Server 2003 with IIS6.0. We get a login error when trying to login to Essentials Manager. We have read the article :Permissions required by Geocortex Essentials on Windows Server 2003:" and checked all listed permissions. We also searched the Knowledge Base for the error below. System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. ---> System.Net.WebException: The request failed with HTTP status 503: Service Unavailable. at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.ReadResponse(SoapClientMessage message, WebResponse response, Stream responseStream, Boolean asyncCall) at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.Invoke(String methodName, Object[] parameters) at Geocortex.Essentials.Management.ManagementWS.GeocortexEssentialsManagerWebServices.Start() at Geocortex.Essentials.Management.Data.ClientManagement.Start() at Geocortex.Essentials.Management.Data.ClientManagement..ctor(String url, UserCredentials uc) at Geocortex.Essentials.Management.Data.ClientManagementFactory.CreateClientManagement(String url, UserCredentials uc) at Geocortex.Essentials.Management.UI.PropertySheets.RootPropertySheet.OnLogin(Object sender, LoginEventArgs args) --- End of inner exception stack trace --- at Geocortex.Essentials.Management.UI.PropertySheets.RootPropertySheetPanel.OnClick(Object sender, EventArgs args)

You may have to reset the app pool identities. Refer our video for more information: https://support.geocortex.com/video-recordings 0 -
I've tried changing the password for the identities Essentials an EssentialsAdim for the Application Pools but it did nothing to resolve the login issue. Surely there is a solution to this problem? Windows Server 2003 and IIS 6.0, nothing special here. 0
