Rights to "Sites" directory

We recently loaded "Essentials" on a test server to try it out and received directory rights error for the "C:\Program Files\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Essentials\Default\REST Elements\Sites" directory when trying to edit the sample "Charlotte" site. We also could not create a new site, I assumed for the same reason. I granted rights to "Everyone" to this directory and the problem was solved but was wondering if someone could tell me how the rights should actually be set to this directory?

  Hi Terry,

  If you're running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008, this could be a UAC problem.  Try right-clicking on the program that you're using to make the edits, and choose "Run as Administrator".  Then make some edits and save the file.
