Workflow Date Picker error

I have a workflow with Date Picker control in the Display Form activity, I have added the Argument Name to pass the selected date to the next activity, but when I run the workflow, it gives the following error message:

DateTime values that are greater than DateTime.MaxValue or smaller than DateTime.MinValue when converted to UTC cannot be serialized to JSON.

I am also getting this error when running the workflow using workflow simulator. Any ideas on how to fix this?

  This could be related to the different ways in which the date can be stored in different countries. What locale is your computer set to?

  The time zone on my computer is set to : (UTC + 12:00) Auckland, Wellington
