WorkFlow ToolBox
My Workflow toolbox is missing many of the tools and groups such as ArcGIS and Client? I thought possibly adding namespaces would do it, but it has not? Anyone have any ideas about this?
Thanks

Hi Michelle,
How did you launch the application? Can you locate the directory where you launched the executable from, and tell me if you have the following files there as well:
Geocortex.Workflow.Activities.dll
Geocortex.Workflow.Activities.Presentation.dll

C:\Program Files\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Essentials\Default\Workflow Designer\Geocrotex.Workflow.Designer.exe
Yeah, both files are there.

We are having the same issue. (tested on 3 different machines)
Right now our only solution is to download sample workflows we find and copy the missing activities from one workflow to another each time we need it.
Any ideas on how to get the default activities to load into the workflow designer?
Tested on Win7 64 bit and WinXp 32 bit with the most current Geocortex release.

As of 3.4.2 we have deprecated the following activities that use Geocortex Geometries:
BufferGeometry
MergeGeometries
GeocortexToArcGisClientGeometry
ArcGisClientToGeocortexGeometry
Instead of BufferGeometry you should use BufferTask and instead of MergeGeometries you should use UnionTask. The other 2 activities only make sense to convert Esri geometries to Geocortex Geometries which is not needed for the new activities.
The main reason for this change is to keep people in the realm of Esri geometry, eliminating the need to deal with 2 types of geometry objects.
The deprecated activities are still in the system to support existing workflows. That is why they work but are not shown in the toolbox. To address your concern, we have decided to create an “Obsolete Activities” category in the toolbox for 3.5 .
Hope this helps,
Chris.

It could also be an issue where Windows is blocking the Designer's DLLs. See this thread:
