Overview Map in a Layer Report problem

The overview map is an object that uses the map as its data source-- the only way to incorporate it into the layer report is through subreports. Try creating a sub report control in the Layer Template report and then a separate .rpx file that contains the Overview map control.

Thanks for the response Flo.  Unfortunately, the SubReport configuration in the Report Designer appears to be looking for a datalink in the DataField setting.  When I create a report to use as a sub-report, the name entered for the sub-report isn't recognized and the web page displays the following error message:

"Specified datatable 'OverviewMapSubReport' does not exist in the dataset"

I'm not seeing any way to have the sub-report data configuration use a report name (in this case OverviewMapSubReport) in the dataset.  Am I missing something that should be really obvious?

I have an update on this in case anyone is interested.

I've discovered the site.xml <MapTemplateReport> tag under the <LayerTemplateReport> tag does not update if the report indicated in <LayerTemplateReport> is modified.

I think the solution is to delete and recreate the report configuration from the layer whenever the contents of the report changes.
