WPF Application
I am creating an WPF application. I added a WPF Esri map control using the ESRI.ArcGIS.Client.Map class and works just fine. I understand that the Geocortex API provides a wrapper to this class with pre-built functionality like adding new WMS services, is that correct? Am I confused with your viewer? If I am not, what else can we get out of this? my company owns licenses for this product and we would like to leverage whatever we can for this project we are working on so we don't have to develop all that for the ESRI.ArcGIS api.
The other thing is that I have a dll to reference called Geocortex.EssentialsWpfApi.dll for this. Is that the right one? Where can I find some examples of how to use it?
Thanks

Hi Luis,
We publish both a Silverlight API and a WPF API that communicate with Geocortex Essentials to get information about the sites that have been published and use Essentials features such as printing and workflows.
The Silverlight API and the WPF API have matching functionality. The Silverlight viewer is a different application that is built on top of the Silverlight API (not the WPF API) so you will not be able to get any functionality specific to the Silverlight Viewer. Does that make sense?
You can find the reference documentation for the WPF API along with the API itself in the zip file you downloaded from our support site.
Cheers,
Christian.
