Use of session variables

I've been asked to comment on a security document our office is preparing, and one of the questions is in regards to session data.

Can anyone confirm if/how/what data Essentials puts into a session variable(s)?

  Hi Peter,

  Essentials REST does not use session variables. Since it is a stateless application there are no user sessions at all.
