Legend.rpx - how to force items to resize to frame

Hi all,

We are using the default Legend.rpx in our print templates.  We have a fixed width legend frame and we are consistently finding that items are chopped off if the names are too long to fit. 

Is there a way that we can force the legend to resize itself within the frame depending on the legend items?.

  The legend cannot resize itself automatically, as it has no idea how big the items are that are being placed in it.

  However, we have made available on our Code Gallery a replacement legend.rpx which allows the administrator to configure the size of the printed legend manually:

  Hi Keri,

  Here are some more tips for possibly getting around your issue:

  - Consider renaming your renderers, layer names, etc. so that they are more compact and will fit better with the fixed size legend.

  - Consider excluding layers from the legend altogether if they don't provide value.  You can configure a property called "IncludeInLegend" at the layer level that will do this.

  - Consider increasing the size of the legend in the print template.
