Layer Identify - Attribute Binding

Hello Geocortex HTML5 Viewer developers,

Has anybody successfully binded layer attributes to the identify module?

If so, would you be willing to share your code sample for others.

Hi Alex,

If you simply wish to display attribute data from an Identify operation, you can configure the viewer to display Identified features in the ResultsTable.

To do so, open your configuration file on disk (Resources/Config in the viewer folder) and look for the "resultMappings" section. There is an entry for Identify - if you change this to "ShowResultsTable", Identify operations will output their results into the Results table and you can examine their (raw) attribute values.

Is it possible to then limit the result table to only show certain fields? It doesn't appear to inherit my field configuration from the site config file.

Change the config files at the individual viewer level not in inetpub.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Essentials\Default\REST Elements\Sites\[site]\Viewers\[viewer]\VirtualDirectory\Resources\Config\Default
