Upgrading Report and Workflow Designers
I just downloaded Geocortex+Report+Designer+2.11.0.zip and Geocortex+Workflow+Designer+2.11.0.zip. I looked inside the files and it just contains .dlls, help files, and an executable. I recognize that the .zip files weren't "installs", but program files. So, I opened Computer and navigated to C:\Program Files (x86)\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Essentials\Default\Report Designer and C:\Program Files (x86)\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Essentials\Default\Workflow Designer and deleted what was there and replaced them with the files in the zip folder (extracted, of course). But now those two programs don't work. They are looking for files that are, in fact, there, but something goes wrong. Here's the error from Report Designer 2.11:
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

File name: 'file:///C:\Program Files (x86)\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Essentials\Default\Report Designer\Geocortex.Reporting.dll' ---> System.NotSupportedException: An attempt was made to load an assembly from a network location which would have caused the assembly to be sandboxed in previous versions of the .NET Framework. This release of the .NET Framework does not enable CAS policy by default, so this load may be dangerous. If this load is not intended to sandbox the assembly, please enable the loadFromRemoteSources switch. See http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=155569 for more information.
Sandboxing? Sounds like a childish sport. :)
So, how am I supposed to install these upgrades properly?

Hi Roger,
The files you downloaded contain the standalone programs for just the Report Designer and Workflow Designer. They're intended for use by people who want just the designer programs, without the rest of Essentials.
If you're replacing files in the Essentials program folder, it's simpler if you just run the installer for the new Essentials release. The new installer will contain replacement Workflow and Report designers.

Well, I know I did the Repair option and that didn't put the Report and Workflow folders back to how they were. I guess I'll have to uninstall and reinstall Essentials 3.7 to get Report and Workflow Designers 2.11?

Uninstalling and Reinstalling fixed the problem. I presume that when I need those designers on my workstation, I'll download the .zip, extract to a new, empty directory, and go from there.
