whats the difference between esri's active report format and geocortex report format
I see that esri also has an active report based report designer, but it does not seem compatible with geocortex's report designer. is there a way to convert from one to the other??

Jeff, indeed you are correct although not that well known.
I've enquired on this front (not specifically your query however) previously.
ESRI's reporting is limited at 10. Its going to be strengthened somewhat in 10.1 but as for comparability between the two I guessing both have dependencies that are not readily transferable between the two products. I'm sure if you went down the customisation path & utilised low-level Visual Studio / Active Reports you could theoretically do it but i would question why you would bother.
What is it you are trying to achieve by converting between the two? I suspect its a lot simpler just to do each report from the start.
