    Hi,

    Make sure your Geocortex App pools are running, also here is also a general troubleshooting guide for 503 errors:

    http://mvolo.com/blogs/serverside/archive/2006/10/19/Where-did-my-IIS7-server-go_3F00_-Troubleshooting-_2200_service-unavailable_2200_-errors.aspx

    Hope this helps.

    Okay ...got my site back up....

    Thx Eric, I had to restart the application pool...but that was only part of the problem.

    I was able to see the Charlotte sample site end points but not my own site's end points

    I was getting "null value" error when I clicked on my own site's rest point, so I decided to revert back to a backup copy of my map service and the site is alive again.

    I updated my map service as follows;

    1) added two new sde layers to my mxd

    2) adjusted the names of 6 layers in my mxd

    3) uploaded the msd to my arc server and restarted the map service

    4) logged into Geocortex Manager to updated the map service for the site

    5) Lost my geocortex rest points

    6) to resolved I reverted back to the orginal map service and my geocortex rest points are visible again.

    and to add....all my ArcGIS endpoints thru the entire process looked fine.  I was able to very the updated map service using the ArcGIS JavaScript.

    The actual cause of the problem is still unknown...but I'm just glad my site is back up.
