Is there a way to send a message within a workflow when an ArcGIS Server geoprocessing task fails?

  Hi Tom,

  I don't believe this is currently possible from within a workflow. If you are just trying to debug an issue you could use an application like Fiddler to inspect the web traffic to the GP service. This would show you the messages. I have filed a feature request to expose the messages as an output of the activity.

  I'm not trying to debug,  I was just trying to think of a way to let the user know the geoprocessing task failed instead of having the container keep saying please be patient when in fact a geoprocessing task failed.
