Global Geocortex Security Provider

Is it possible to look at the site security info (Global Geocortex Security Provider) outside of Manager?  Adding new users to my site isn't working.  I'd like to check the security log... if such a thing exists?

  Hi Dan,

  The security information for the Global Geocortex Security Provider can be found at "C:\Program Files (x86)\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Application Services\App_Data\GlobalSecurityProvider.xml". You can manually add users and roles to this file if you are unable to through Manager.

  Are you getting a specific error message when you try to add new users? There isn't a dedicated security log, but there might be something in the Rest Manager logs, located at "C:\Program Files (x86)\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Essentials\Default\REST Elements\Manager\App_Data\Logs\"

  There is also a bug where when adding a user, the spinner gets into an endless loop. If you cancel this dialog, you will see that the user was successfully added. If this is the behavior you are experiencing, it has been fixed for Essentials 3.9.

  If not, you may find additional security related errors logged in the Application Services logs, which are located here: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Application Services\Logs"
