Best place for graphics
I'm struggling to figure out the best place to store graphics on my Geocortex Essentials server. If I store them in one place, my sites can see them but my viewers can't. I don't want separate directories for my site's graphics because all my mapping sites have the same look and feel, and thus use the same graphics. Is there one central place I can keep them? If you have an answer for that, then please also add what the path looks like when you reference a graphic within a site and within a viewer (like, does it contain those tag placeholders, parent directory indicators (..), or what?)

I would just setup a virtual directory and assign the correct permissions. I personally use the resources directory in the essentials install path to store icons for both the viewer and essentials.

When you set the locations for the icons, do you then hard-code the path clear back to C, or do you use Geocortex replacement tokens?

I use replacement tokens for the site config files by assigning the site a virtual directory in the rest manager and then I use hardcoded paths in the viewer config for buttons and viewer specific items.
