    Hi Jeff,

Not currently, but soon. In Essentials 3.11 there will be a GetCodedValueDomain activity. The result of the activity can be converted to a list of DataItems and passed to a form.

Here's a shot of that activity in action.

    Ryan,

thanks for sharing that update news with us...

I'm sure there are a few more happy campers out there now... well shortly anyway!

    Ryan,

On a related topic, could we get clarification around coded-domains & support for in-line editing functionality (see (http://support.geocortex.com/Forums/Thread.aspx?thread=47264&mid=2&pageid=0&ItemID=7&pagenumber=1#post137721) Enhancement ideas for "in-place attribute editing ")?

If not, then the in-line editing functionality falls short of its min requirements & needs to be addressed (I'm not a fan of inconsistent behavior across an applications functionality as it doesn't enable a consistent experience from an end-user experience & in coded-domains scenario, opens the door to reduce yorur data integrity).

@Gareth. Sorry I can't be more specific than Fall 2012 for the 3.11 realease.

@Brad. I'll follow up on the original post.

    Thanks Ryan...

and I agree with Brad - (us Ausses stick together ; ) but it would be extremely beneficial if the domain enhancement flowed through to the inline editing. Having it for one, and not the other leads to disjointed user experience, and as Brad's mentioned - erroneous data input.

    cheers

It'd been a while since I'd done this, so thought I might document the steps for setting up the variables to go along with the screen grabs that Ryan has added..

    hope it helps
