Device Selection

Hi, I'm noticing that the device selection (handheld,tablet,desktop) doesn't always work.  I'd like to change the default device from desktop to tablet as a happy medium.  Is that a way to control this?  I still want to maintain the three options when it works.

Device selection didn't work on my BB Bold or Le Pan tablet.

  Hi Dan,

  If you post the User Agent for these devices, I can note them in our issue tracker and we can add support for automatically selecting them. If you open Index.html in a text editor, you can see how the detection is done.

  You can see your User Agents by visting http://whatsmyuseragent.com/ on each devices.

  Thanks for the tip on device selection, that worked.  But, it looks like BlackBerry's aren't supported by the Viewer?  I've tried a couple of different models with mixed results.  There does seem to be support for HTML5 in OS7 though? http://html5test.com/results/mobile.html   If RIM ever gets it act together maybe we'll get to try it out in OS10.  Too bad, we still have a lot of BB users.

  Another interesting find, using our BlackBerry Enterprise Server I'm able to connect to our internal AGS server to access maps through BB devices (including Playbook).  This is a bonus for us.  No additional security required.  Unfortunately, the HTML5 viewer will load but Panning the map doesn't work.  What would it take to get map Panning to work on BlackBerry?
