Map Image from workflow to report

Hello,

When I try to to take a a map image using a workflow and insert it into a report I get a system.imaging.drawing bitmap is not XML serializable. Can anyone help me understand what I am doing wrong? I know the map image generates correctly as when I debug it I can navigate to the url and see the map that was made. I just can't get it, into the report.
