GeoRSS Feeds - Never show in Map Preview for Site

Hello all,

I am trying to figure out why I cannot get a GeoRSS feed to work correctly in an HTML Viewer but I have noticed that it also doesn't appear in the "Map Preview" within the Site in Essentials Manager (3.9.0).  I may end up posting this on HTML Viewer forum, too.

1) Sample earthquake GeoRSS feed added to site - doesn't show up in the "Map Preview" but will show up just fine in the HTML Viewer.

2) The following feed, provided by a 3rd party vendor, is our vehicles that are also used for snow plowing/sanding (important today as we are having freezing rain):

When I add to the Map within our Site and test connection, I receive "Success".  But it never appears in the Map Preview.  It WILL show up in the HTML Viewer but once it hits the refresh interval of 30 seconds, it will disappear never to be displayed again.

So, the question for this forum is-- shouldn't I be seeing these in the Map Preview?

(a question regarding the HTML Viewer will soon appear on that forum about the layer disappearing on refresh).

  Hi Carmen,

  You are correct, Map Preview in REST Manager is currently unable to display GeoRss layers.

  There was also an issue with Update Interval for GeoRss layers in GVH 1.1 which is fixed in 1.2 which will be the next release of HTML Viewer.
