Tracking down an Error issue
We've got an issue where we sometimes get an Error when trying to create a printable map. This map is only A4 size and low resolution however we get the error:
The print operation could not complete successfully. Please contact your system administrator for assistance.
I'm guessing it's some sort of time out issue on the server. Are there any logs I can check to try to track down the issue? Could the IIS or ArcGIS Server logs help?
thanks
Neil.

Hi Neil,
The REST log should have more information. It will be located at "C:\Program Files (x86)\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Essentials\Default\REST Elements\REST\App_Data\Logs\SYSTEM.2013-02-25.log". Are you able to export a map image from the Rest Endpoint of the service?
Another thing to try would be running it as a print job. This allow the print to generate out of process, so it won't be constrained by a timeout setting, and you will be able to continue using the viewer while it generates. To enable print jobs, go to the Print Templates tab in Rest Manager, and edit the print template in question. Click on the Edit Print Job Settings button, and then check the box to "Enable Print Jobs".

I have just upgraded to 3.12 and am now getting the same print error "The print operation could not complete successfully. Please contact your system administrator for assistance."
Any ideas how to resolve this?
Thank you
