Data Analysis and Visualisation extension

In the Jan 24 Road Ahead video this extension was mentioned as an R&D topic. Feedback from customers was requested about what they'd like to see. I would like to see some charting tools that allow you to draw graphs of features shown in the current extent. Graphs would often just be counts of features but could also work on other attributes e.g summing areas. Graphs could be bar charts, lines, scatter plots, parallel coordinate plots; pie charts not required. This extension could also support a real time dashboard with set displays of key measures. What would you add to this potential extension?
