    Hello Peter,

These should be working in 1.2. Would you be able to give me a little more context, such as what your feature label and feature description templates are, so that I could test them on my local machine?

    Hi Jamie,

I noticed the problem when I updated to 1.2. Previously, I could tap on a feature and the HTML identify window (not sure if there is a more appropriate name) would open. Now I tap on the same feature and nothing happens. The only way I can see information regarding a feature is to use the identify tool. Thanks so much for the help.

    Hi Peter,

So I believe that what you're describing is the MapTip, am I correct?  Here are a few things to check:

    1. Is the layer containing that particular feature both identifiable, and maptipable? It is possible that you could have identifies enabled, but maptips turned off.

    2. Is the feature visible, in that it's containing layer is both enabled, and within the visible range?

Let me know, and I will attempt to troubleshoot further

    Hi Jamie,

Thanks so much. It seems map tips are turned turned off for all of my layers. Oddly enough, map tips were working for these layers previous to the upgrade (which is why I didn't go back and check). Is it possible that somehow these settings were reset during the process? Before the upgrade, I tested the site (could see all functionality was working), performed the upgrade, then retested. That is when I noticed the issue...

Regardless, thanks so much for the help. I'll go through and re-enable map tips.

    Hi Peter,

The HTML5 1.1 viewer would give you a map tip regardless of the setting in REST Manager.  Map Tips for everyone!

Now at 1.2, it respects the setting in REST Manager for the Site.  I suspect they were never enabled in your Site; you'll need to enable them for the layers you want to see now.  Upgrading shouldn't ever toggle this checkbox.

    Regards,

    -Malcolm

    Hi Malcolm,

I suspect this was the case all along. I couldn't see how upgrading the viewer would impact these settings. Since they were working before, I assumed the setting was always checked. I'm glad 1.2 respects the toggle now, this will make for better mapping.
