Essentials 3.12 on windows 8 rest service wont lunch

I have installed essesntials on windows 8 64 bit but the rest manager wont lunch. Under IIS settings there are new features . What is the recommended settings to get essentials rest to work Under windows 8. Thank you

  Make sure you got "Geocortex Application Services" running. you can check these from the task bar or from Program Files under GeoCortex select "GeoCortex Agent" this will tell you if services are running or not?

  Also a snapshot will elaborate your issue a bit more than just text explanation.

  Hi Adnan,

  the snapshot attached. I can lunch the sample viewer http://localhost/SilverlightViewer_1_8/ , and the sample site will load normally , the services are started normally /customer/servlet/servlet.FileDownload?file=00P6000000eltxPEAQ

  Hello Ramla,

  Likely this is caused by the .net runtime for the application pool being improperly specified. There are usually more than one version of the .NET framework installed on a particular server. Each IIS application pool can only run one version. Our product runs in either 4.0/4.5 of the .NET Framework. Check the application pools node in the Windows IIS management console for the .NET framework version under the name "EssentialsAppPool3". If the Essentials Manager is working properly, likely the "EssentialsAdministrationAppPool3" is running in v4.0 as it should.
