Zoom to point feature

When I launch the viewer, identify on a point feature, and select the action to "zoom to feature" the map zooms out to a very small scale.  So I set the "Feature Zoom Scale" in Manager for that particular layer.  But now when I "zoom to feature" after I identify, it zooms to a very large scale.  I have put several values for the "feature zoom scale", but they all zoom into the same large scale.  The different values don't seem to change the zoom factor. Anybody else seeing this problem?

  I'm still having this zoom issue with the HTML5 1.3.1 release.  Any suggestions?   Please let me know.

  Hi Mark,

  Is your map's spatial reference defined by a Well-Known Text (WKT), as opposed to a Well-Known ID (WKID)? There's an issue we're investigating where Zoom to Scale doesn't work with maps that use a WKT. We're planning on having it resolved for the next release of the Viewer (which release and when is still TBD). I've added you as a stakeholder to the issue, as I'm assuming you're experiencing the same problem as Jared -- let me know if this isn't the case (i.e., your map is using a WKID) and we'll dig a little deeper.

  I'll follow up when I have more info about the fix and its availability.

   I am  having what seems like same issue in GVH 2.3.2.    Can anyone confirm if this was actually ever resolved?

  I've also tried using the feature zoom scale setting (GVH 2.3, GE 4.1) but it doesn't seem to have any effect. This is a high need for us and developing a custom workflow is not something I want to do since the exisitng setting should just work.

  Hi Rebecca,

  I just tested this on my GVH 2.3 instance and the setting was honoured and it behaved as expected.  If I entered a scale too small, i.e. 100, it was ignored and nothing happened but when I used scales of 10,000 and 100,000 for instance, they were zoomed accordingly.

  You may want to open a ticket for this.
