3.14 Printing Issue
We recently upgraded to 3.14 and SL 1.9. When we print, cached basemap and cached imagery base map services do not display. The map template prints in PDF and .Jpg. Same issue occurs with either print option.
Only vector data from dynamic services and/or graphic objects display in the print output. The same thing happens when we export to image. We are still on ArcGIS Server 10.0. Any info on this? Thanks, Jason

There is a similar thread under the Silverlight discussions: "3.14 - Problem loading Services with Raster Catalog(s)"
Your problems are similar to those that I'm experiencing. I'm still working to resolve them and don't have a solution yet.

I ran into this also when I upgrade my version of Essentials and Silverlight
Did you remove the cached layers for the map services on GeoCortex side for faster display? I had to add one layer back for each of the cached map services to be able to print.
Hope this helps

Help! We are having the same issue but not sure if it is Essentials or Silverlight issue (see comment below)
upgraded to 3.14 and SL 1.9.1 and now none of our cached imagery/basemaps appear when we choose a print template from SLV. HOWEVER, we can see the cached basemap if we go directly to the Essentials REST endpoint for that print template and print from there.
We upgraded to 3.14 to resolve a print template legend error - now the cached layers won't appear. ugh.
Thanks,
Carmen

Jimmy,
Thanks for your suggestion it has worked for me as well. I'm running Geocortex 4.2.1 and Silverlight Viewer 2.3.1.
In my case I had all of my layers included in my cached map service. Even though they were all there I was still getting this printing error. So I excluded one layer in the cached map service using Geocortex manager, saved the site, and then re-added the layer to the service. Saved the site and now it's working great.
Thanks,
Grant
