Select Features Collection Name - can you determine count or existence?

I hope this is easy and it has stumped me because it is late in the day.

I have a workflow that is processing through creating a mailout of parcels based on several user inputs.  In the end, I ask if the user wants to "add the parcels to the results window" or another option.

So, to add the parcels to show in the Results View, I use the "Select Features" task and specify a collection name of "Parcels for Mailing".

If they are running this mailout workflow a few times, I want to be able to determine if "Parcels for Mailing" already exists in order to ask the user if they want to either add their new selections to the previous Mailout, clear the old Mailout results or maybe even create their own named collection( if I can figure that out). 

I need a way to either tell if the "Parcels for Mailout" collection exists or if the count is zero - anything that will programmatically determine whether they have already created a "Parcels for Mailout".

Using WF 2.17, SLV 1.8
