forms - date question

Hi,

 

I am trying to set the value of a DatePicker by using a Date variable. It works great if there is a date, but if I set the variable to Nothing, the date shows up as January 01, 01.

 

How can I set the DatePicker to a blank date, or a “please select”?

  For anyone that cares, Latitude has filed an improvement request for this.

   

  Anyone got any suggestions for working with blank dates?
