Unable to select graphics of features in map service
I am using the Select Features activity to select the result of my query task of a map service. I have no issue selecting the records, but the features refuse to highlight. Is there anything prohibiting features from being highlighted?
This issue seems to be map service specific as I have no issue selecting and highlighting other layers in the same site using the other map services. I am able to use the Identify tool to identify and highlight these features.
Any ideas?

Using the wrong IDs? You should use site IDs and not mapservice IDs in the Select Features activity.

Thanks Nico - yes, I am aware of the site IDs vs Map service IDs. They seem correct to me. I have done this 100 times. Again, the records ARE selected in the results view, just not highlighted.

In addition, when selecting on each record in the results view, the map pans to the extent of that record, but does not highlight it. 'Select All' is greyed out too. ???

Hi Ryan,
For Highlighting to show up when selecting features, your layer must include the SHAPE field. This doesn't have to be visible in the viewer, but it must be available at the ArcGIS Server REST Endpoint for your layer. Can you verify that this field is included on your layer?

Hi Ryan,
Is the spatial reference of the map service that is giving you trouble different from the spatial reference of your site? If so, are you setting the 'Out Spatial Reference' property in the Query Task activity to match the spatial reference of the site?

That was it! I am so used to all of our services being in 102100, I failed to check the service I was querying against, which happened to be in GCS (4326).

The SHAPE field is available in REST. Just fyi...
