Embed Search on Html Page

Perhaps someone else has done this and can help me. Is it possible to embed a form on an external website that one can use to search
a map service and get the results. For example, I want to give users the ability to look up election related information for where they live...

They type their address and get a list of results (polling place, various districts, etc.) This search is embedded in an external website No map is present

except for the result of the search of say their polling place. So essentially the only map they see is a small embedded map on the side of their report.

The issue is I want this to search a map service but not have the user have to interact with the map service.

The map service sits in the background sort of like how Google map sits on the side after a Mapit function is performed.

So external website search for an address get results with a map of the polling place no map just results shown back to the user.

Can I use Geocortex to do this?
