Workflow Error with 'Export Map' Activity (GE3.15 and SL1.10)
Hi to all
I have a workflow that was running fine prior to the upgrade from 3.14 and 1.9 that has an Export Map Activity (a client-side activity) in the middle of it and I now get this error occuring:
/customer/servlet/servlet.FileDownload?file=00P6000000e88ThEAI
The reason that I mention the Export Map as being related is that is I comment it out then the error does not occur. I have added Alert Activities either side of the Export Map to check on progress. I am figuring that it may be due to variable scope that when packaging everything up for transfer between client and server is causing things to break.
Anyone has any other thoughts?

Ralph

Hi Ralph,
Can you please have a look in the System log for the REST application to see if there is any additional information from this error (C:\Program Files (x86)\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Essentials\<instance>\REST Elements\REST\App_Data\Logs). If you can switch the log level to DEBUG and then generate the error it would provide the most detailed information to help us diagnose the problem. Thanks.

Hi Ryan
Would you like me to e-mail the log file to you?

Yes please. You can send it to (support@geocortex.com) and include a reference to this thread. Or if there is just an obvious error message with a stacktrace on the log (that doesn't reveal anything sensitive) you can just paste in the excerpt on this thread.
Thanks,

Thanks Ralph,
That is very helpful. It looks like you have a service that has two layers with the same ID and that is causing the request to fail. Usually we would only see duplicate IDs in a WMS service. We'll keep working to replicate the scenario here and I'll post back as soon as posible. Thanks.

Hi Ryan
it looks like that duplicate ID may be what is causing it.
I get this Exclamation when in the REST Manager:
/customer/servlet/servlet.FileDownload?file=00P6000000elzLtEAI
which gives this message when clicked on:
/customer/servlet/servlet.FileDownload?file=00P6000000em1DZEAY
and yet when I looked at both the GE REST endpoint for that Mapservice in the site there did not appear to be any duplication between ids 12 and 13.
And more confusing still the SL client loads the site fine and works fine until I run the workflow that started this discussion.
I will e-mail the site.xml to the support case for this.
I have now removed the mapservice that was reporting as having duplication, saved site, and added again.
And the workflow now runs correctly
Thanks for your assistance Ryan. I guess it would have been better if the Warning was more of an Error.
Looking forward to your thoughts
Ralph

This error from duplicate layer IDs has been fixed with today's release of 3.15.1. Thanks for your help in identifying the issue!
