Global Search results won't zoom

New to Geocortex (3.15), I'm building a  site that hosts a single map service with two layers: parcels and road allowances. I'm able to add data links and use them to customize the feature descriptions. That works great. Now I'm trying to enable Global Search, and have hit a problem. While it works for finding and displaying results, it will not zoom to any of them. The Zoom to Feature link in the Silverlight 1.10 viewer's feature information window  is always disabled. In fact the only link not disabled there is Add to Selected!

Please help me identify what might be missing that has all these tasks disabled.

  Hi Justin,

   have you hidden the OBJECTID and SHAPE fields in your MXD? Without these fields being published,  the viewer won't know how to locate the feature and zoom to it.

  Right on, Edmond! The shape field was hidden in the MXD. Unhidden and republished now, I can zoom to feature!

  I recently encountered this issue with the HTML5 Viewer (v. 2.5.2),  You must leave the Object ID, and SHAPE fields turned on from your MXD before publishing the service; in order for the viewer to highlight/zoom to feature after identifying a feature.  Such a simple fix, but took hours of research until I came across your post... Thank you for sharing this!  :)
