Grouping layers outside of their services
Hi,
Is it possible to group layers from different services under one heading that is independent of a service? I'm thinking of something similar to group layers in ArcMap.
For example, the standard way is to group all layers by service, so one could have a structure like:
Service 1
Service 1, Layer 1
Service 1, Layer 2
...
Service 2
Service 2, Layer 1
Service 2, Layer 2
...
I would like to be able to have a structure such as:
Group name
Service 1, Layer 2
Service 2, Layer 2
...
Is such a combination of layers from different services in one group possible in Geocortex?
The versions we use are: Essentials 3.12.0, ArcGIS 10.0.
Thanks
Hanlie

Not that I know of.
We've been after this for a while. We've got tiled map services that we'd like to group.
I thought I heard on the forums a while back grouping was coming in a future version??

Thanks for the reply. Guess we'll just have to wait and see when this functionality arrives.

We're wanting to utilise an external WMS which has multiple layers that are natively in an illogical order (older imagery on top of more recent!). I can reference the layers individually but would like to group them.
