Slow and irresponsive “auto-complete search” in the Geocortex,

 

I’m wondering why the “auto-complete search” in the Geocortex is quite slow to appear in one hand and irresponsive on the other. Users are daily reporting this problem.

 

Please, consider that the “auto-complete search” is reading from a field of 150 values and the “min prefix length” is set to be 1 while the “min populate delay” is 0.

  Hi Jamal

  does it behave any better if the min prefix length is two and the min-populate time is 100?

  Effectively you might as well just load those 150 items into a List of DataItems into a Combobox on the fly.
