Internet connection while working with the Geocortex,

At present, our Geocortex is working via intranet (our VPN network). I’m wondering why the Geocortex is affected in case the internet is disconnected? In many cases where the internet is down, then the Geocortex deos’t work.

Which settings can be switched to let the Gecortex work irrespective whether there is internet access or not.

  Hi Jamal,

  You can use either your browser's Developer Tools or Fiddler (http://fiddler2.com/) to determine which requests are failing when the internet is disconnected. There may be a map service or other resource that is used in the site that cannot be loaded without the internet connection available, and both of these tools should show you what those resources may be. By removing these from your site, or pointing to intranet alternatives, your sites should continue to work internally without an internet connection.
