    Edgardo,

How come you are not taking advantage of the Global Search feature?  It works well, and is much easier than doing workflows...

    Hi Mike,

Global Search is an option but it does not give you possible candidates like the workflows or does it? Users wants to see list of candidates as they type in their search paramater. Everything else is working on my workflows except searching for property address in HTML5. Could be a bug?

    thanks,

    Hi Edi,

Are you using the same workflow and same site for both viewers?

It could be that you have a different map or layer id in the html site - therefore the workflow won't find the result.  Have you got it working using the Simulator tool in Workflow Designer?

    Edi,

I see what you mean, but you are limiting yourself to only being able to search for a few things - I search ~50 different layers/fields.  Also, LG has said that the Global search will give you a list of candidates in an up coming release.

Beyond that, not only is your autofill not working, neither is your actual search, so I'm guessing that what Mick says maybe your problem.

    Mike,

Yes, it's using the same workflow and I got it to work in Workflow Designer as well. I created the Silvelight version first and just created the HTML5 viewer later.

    Edi,

Can you see any difference between the property address workflow (does not work in HTML5) and the school name search (does work in HTML5)?

This would make me think there is an ID or something not right in the property address search.

I have just tried a few things and noticed that while '18323 Soledad' did not get found in autocomplete or in the result, entering '%soledad%' did find all valid records.  Perhaps there is something up with using numbers at thte start in HTML5???

I should have added earlier that '%18323 Soledad%' is also found as a result.

If you enable the layer to be found in the global search, you could check whether it is found that way.  This might help narrow the options of where something is going wrong

    Hi,

Seaching for property address or any other search options using the Global Search in HTML5 is working just fine. Even if you just type in part of the search string say "23920 va", a result will come up.

Everything is working well in Silverlight version. it seems like HTML5 cannot handle too many address records? I have more than 100K addresses in my database.

    It's driving me nuts!

    Edi,

If you think it is a file size issue, try creating a smaller file for testing...
