Cannot Add Button to Toolbar

I am trying to add a button to a toolbar, but the bottom of the dialog is cut off so there is no way to finalize the setting (e.g., clicking "OK"). I cannot get out of the dialog by clicking elsewhere in Geocortex Essentials Manager (entire application is frozen). Only resort is to close the program to at least get back to the site.

  Hi Sheri,

  Would you mind sharing with us your browser and the screen resolution you are running at? These two pieces of information will help us replicate and fix your issue.

  In the meantime, you can likely use your browsers zoom functionality to make the OK button visible. In most browsers, zoom is controlled by holding the Ctrl button and using the mouse wheel to zoom in or out.

  Hi Sheri,

  I've been able to reproduce what you're seeing and we're working on a fix for it. In the meantime, you can work around this by doing one of the following:

  • Zooming in and out in your browser as Jason suggests. If you zoom out far enough that you can see the entire Add Button dialogue, when you zoom back in again to 100%, the dialogue should be re-centered in your screen.
  • If, before clicking to add a button, you ensure that you're scrolled all the way to the top of the page (so you can see the "Geocortex Essentials Manager" banner). The dialogue should then appear in the center of your screen.

  Also, if you get stuck with the dialogue offscreen where you can't click on any of the buttons, pressing Esc will close (cancel) the dialogue, which will get you back to the application without having to restart it.
