I think the answer is in your question. You don't see them because they're non-spatial, so they aren't going to be listed as a map layer in Geocortex Rest Manager.

What are you trying to do with the non-spatial tables? Do you want to be able to search for records in them within a Geocortex site? If so, you could set them up as search tables and then use them in a data link on a spatial layer.

Many thanks John for the help,

Precisely, I want to search the non-spatial data to find their corresponding features on the map the same way we do with “relate” in the ArcMap.

Could you please elaborate a bit more regarding:

“you could set them up as search tables and then use them in a data link on a spatial layer”

I spent a few minutes trying to write an explanation of how to use search tables, but I decided it was too confusing. Instead, I recommend watching this video:

    http://support.geocortex.com/data-link-search

There's more info in the GE Administrator's Guide in section 20.3 Search Tables.

Thank you very much for the help. The video link you have provided is very useful.

I tried to “create search table” with xls file but didn’t come through. I got the message shown in the screenshot below.

    /customer/servlet/servlet.FileDownload?file=00P6000000em1ZLEAY

    /customer/servlet/servlet.FileDownload?file=00P6000000em1hZEAQ

What might be the issue here?

Not sure what the issue would be. What version of GE are you using? Your option for the Create Search Table Wizard look different than mine.

    Thanks John

The version is 3.15. By the way, is there a way to show the version of the Geocortex?

The only place I know of where the version is visually displayed is in Programs and Features in the Control Panel.

    /customer/servlet/servlet.FileDownload?file=00P6000000elzhzEAA

    Hi folks,

If you hover your mouse pointer over the banner in REST Manager, the tool tip will display the Essentials version:

    /customer/servlet/servlet.FileDownload?file=00P6000000em1A1EAI

The version is also published to a Site's REST endpoint:

    /customer/servlet/servlet.FileDownload?file=00P6000000elu2AEAQ
