basic instruction needed - how to add secure services to site

OK, so noob.

 

I have secured services on my server, all good.  I have geocortex up and running, all good.  I can add services to geocortex sites that don't have security, all good.  But I am at a complete loss on how to add a secure servie to geocortex sites.  I read the help but need somethign more basic to get started.

arcgis server 10.2.1, Geocortex essentials 3.15.1, Server security is Windows groups in a Server store.

  When you go through the add services wizard, after you enter the server name, and you a re presented with a list of drop down items showing your servers services, there is a button below it that says "Access secure services". Hit that and enter credentials for the secure sites and then they will show up in the list.
