Tips in the Geocrtex,

I couldn’t figure out how to manage the “show map tips” in the Geocortex. For example:

How to choose the field to show

 

How to show the tips in “hover over”

  Hi Jamal,

  You will find step by step instructions in the Geocortex Viewer For Silverlight Administrator and Developer Guide, under "Configure Map Tips".

  Hi Jamal

  have you added the 'Show Map Tips' Checkbox tool to the Toolbar if it is not there already?

  And ticked it?

  Many thanks Ralph for the help,

  I thought that these tips are managed at the level of the “manger” but not on the application of the end-user.

  Is there a way to specify the value of which field is displayed by the tips? Is there a way to override the value chosen at the level of mxd?

  Is there a way to manage the tips at the level of the Geocortex manager such that the “enable map tips” is checked by default and also to choose which layers are checked\unchecked also by default.
