Workflow behaving differently in SL and HTML viewers

I created a simple workflow to ask the user for input and run a query task. I works great, as expected, in the SL Viewer. But in the HTML Viewer, it asks for credentials from my secure service, I just cancel that request and it completes the query successfully.

Then when the results are in the UI, the Zoom To and Pan To buttons do not work.

We are wanting to standardize on the HTML viewer so this is a critical issue for us.

Any ideas?
