Site Timeout - GXE 4.0
After upgrading to Essentials 4.0 our Geocortex sites are continually timing out? I can't find anything in the Essentials logs to indicate an issue. There are "Unable to process request for Service" error messages in ArcGIS Server. However, the services are running and accessible? Restart the server and everything’s happy again for a while.

I think I may have discovered the source of the problem. There are two services running on the server Geocortex Agent & Geocortex Application Services 2. Is Geocortex Agent left over from a previous install? I've stopped it and I'm no longer getting errors in ArcGIS server. My sites & Manager are still working.

When I installed Geocortex 4 I noticed I was prompted to install geocortex Applications Service 2. I thought I clicked on the installation file too many times so I canceled the install of Geocortex the second time.
Latitude may want to check on this.
Also, when I run post install again, window installer starts I am requested to install geocortex application services 2

Yeah, after installing I went back and applied the Hotfix. That probably caused the issue for me.

My bad, I guess I was suppose to install Geocortex Application Services 2.
This resolved my problem with site security.

Hi Dan, Can check your SYSTEM log file for today and yesterday for any ERROR messages? If you find an error there, please, post it here to the forum.
