Printing A0 Error : Please contact your System Administrator for assistance
Dear All
I am using Geocortex 3.12 version with silverlight 1.8 viewer
I have created custom print template for A0 (46.8 x 33.1 inches). Template created and published successfully . Whe I print A0 from Silverlight viewer , it encountered error " printer operation cannot be completed. Please contact your System Administrator for assistance"
What will be the problem?
We need to print A0 pdf badly. is Geocortex capable of printing A0? or it is a bug?
If this is not the correct approach to print A0 from Geocortex then please guide me the best approach...

Hi Anjitha,
Most likely the printing is timing out, but you'll need to confirm this error by examining the logs on the server located (normally) here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Essentials\Default\REST Elements\REST\App_Data\Logs . In the system log you should see the entry explaining why the printing failed.
The reason why I suspect the print job is the size of the sheet - A0 is large so it would require a bit of time to transfer all the data to generate a map. Geocortex Essentials has a feature called "Print Jobs" that will allow you to handle this size. See the sections called "About Large-Format Printing" and "Configure a Print Template for Large-Format Printing" in the Geocortex Essentials 3.12 Administrator Guide.
