Since updating to GXE4.0 report maps are showing non-visible layers. This happens when the map service is visible bu t layers are t urned off.

I think I am seeing the same issue. I upgraded from GE 4.1.5 to 4.3 and now when I run a parcel report, the map image on the report has ALL of the layers turned on! How do I fix this?

I had the same situation a while ago and figured out that the non-visible layers showing were once I had published through AGS as visible by default. Even though I changed their default visibility in GE Manager, the report feature map was still using the default visibility from the AGS service. The solution was to publish all of my map services with all of the layers turned off.

Thank you for the suggestion. I tried turning off all the layers in the MXD except for parcels and streets, and republished it. I even cleared the browser cache just in case. My report still prints with all the layers turned on.

Before the upgrade, our report used one of the cached base maps (aerial photo) for the map image. After the upgrade it is using the main map service. If I could make it use the aerial photo again instead that might fix the problem. Trouble is, I have no idea how to do that. In report designer it just says "FeatureMapImage" for the DataField of the picture.
