Parent site inherits from child

Hi all,

I've successfully managed to get Site 'B' to inherit all of the settings from Site 'A', however when I then add an additional map service to Site B, it also appears in Site A. Is this expected behaviour?

There is no reference in Site A made to Site B whatsoever. Is site inheritence reciprocal by default?

I'm running Essentials 3.15.1.

  Update

  If I launch Site A with the ViewerConfig parameter explicitly set to its own viewer.xml then the additional layers from Site B do not appear. It's only when I launch the site from the default SilverlightViewer page does the problem occur.

  I haven't been able to replicate this with new site configurations.

  The only thing I can think of is that Site B was originally a copy of the Site A site, which would have duplicated the viewer. However this was subsequently deleted and recreated to inherit from Site A instead. Could there be a legacy file or setting somewhere that is causing a conflict?
