Customize Map Scale Units
One of my clients has suggested that he would like to see the map scale to be shown as 1 inch = 200 feet instead of the ratio 1:2400. I think making the scale units configurable would be a big help- many folks used to reading paper maps are used to seeing scales in this format. Also, I can cheat this a bit already and give them inches to feet for print templates.
I know it's just dividing by 12, but others can get lost in this. Outside the US do people use things like 1cm = 100m or is it just ratios?

We also need to format the scales as 1 inch = xyz feet. That is all that makes sense to most of our field crew. We have modified our print templates as well, but the Geocortex Essentials / HTML5 Viewer UI ratio scales are still confusing to end users. 0 -
I am also looking to customize the scale display for end users to better understand the extents.
For example: 1:1128 (accurate to WM) scale would read as 'Tax Lot Scale (1:1,128)'0
