Instant Search - Data Links & Tables

Is instant search configurable for data links and search tables?  It seem to be limited to map services only.  How about a work around with relationships?  If there’s a related table in the map service would this work?

    As of the 2.1 release, no. We realize the importance of supporting data links and related records, but felt that our best path was to forego supporting those for the time being in order to bring the power to Elasticsearch to you sooner. We're currently planning our next release and are intent on supporting data links and related records as soon as possible.

    Instant Search currently does, however, support Feature Servers in addition to Map Servers.

    I've noticed that feature descriptions returned using instant search in SLV2.1 don't display data link values (i.e.  {datalink.fieldvalue}).  They seem to work ok in HTML5V2.1.

    If the same feature is searched through an ArcGIS search the data link values do appear.

    You're correct, Dan. There was a bug in SLV 2.1 when resolving data links or related records for features returned from Instant Search. This has been fixed and will be included in the next release.

    While using Essentials 4.1.2 and Silverlight v2.2 I just wanted to add to the continued conversation regarding issues we've experienced with Instant Search. Although our indexes have been generated successfully and are quite happy with the results and speed, we're seeing discrepancies between a address Find and address Instant Search.

    First image below is the results and feature description of a find on an address point. With the parent map service configured for Enhancement proxy and resolve coded domains, the find results show the completed address with the name of the city intact.

    But with the results of any search on the same address, the results pane show the address 360 Maki Avenue, but the city's coded value is displayed, not the name.
