Instant Search

I installed instant search, and populated a search index for a service (Q). When searching for features in the global search, a drop down menu that shortlists the possible features appears, but when selecting any feature of them no result is found. When disabling instant search the features are found properly!!

  Hi Hani,

  When I search for features in the global search, a drop down menu that shortlists the possible features does not appear with me!

  GE 4.2.1

  GVS 2.3.2

  Despite that i do the same steps on my test site as following:

  /customer/servlet/servlet.FileDownload?file=00P6000000elu6WEAQ

  /customer/servlet/servlet.FileDownload?file=00P6000000elziiEAA

  /customer/servlet/servlet.FileDownload?file=00P6000000elzr6EAA

  /customer/servlet/servlet.FileDownload?file=00P6000000elzpPEAQ

  Then i searched for "??? " , but it doesn't return any value and it still searching, also the drop down menue not appear !

  /customer/servlet/servlet.FileDownload?file=00P6000000eltooEAA

  I couldn't figure out why that happened?

  What might be the issue in my case?

  Hi Lubna,

  You have to UNCHECK "Geographic Presedence" in the instant search (in the viewer configuration), also I prefer setting the "Autocomplete Delay (ms)" and the "Minimum Prefix Length" to 1; this is better elaborated with the screenshot below.
