Saving secure logon credentials?
I created a map the other day that had a secure login on the ArcServer side (server credentials not windows authentication) and I don't know how I did it, but the credentials were stored and I am never prompted... I have verifyed the service is indeed secured by viewing the REST services. I have attempted to use that service and another I had secured with no luck at repeating the process!
How did I do it? If it is possible to store the credentials, it would be incredible so I can reduce the frustration for my internal people. I have public and internal only maps and it is difficult to decide which group to inconvenience with logins.....
Also, if that works, can I save the credentials using windows authentication? Say for instance, using a Managed Service Account on Windows, for my public access folks only.

Jacqueline,
We have a similar, though not identical situation here using the Geocortex Idendity Server. When users login, they're prompted the first time in, but then if that browser window is closed and they go back into the application, they are not challenged a second time. I'm not sure how to sign users out or terminate their session upon closing or insure they are rechallenged everytime the application is launched. Will follow this thread for ideas.
